It has been 365 days around the sun as Frosted Petal Bakery, and here we are - Happy First Birthday to us! I've had the pleasure to create beautiful cakes, cupcakes, and cookies for countless birthdays, baby showers, and more!
My passion for baking started when my grandma taught me how to make my first traditional Indonesian cake - kue bolu keju (Indonesian cheesecake). Now, I have created a dessert style of my own - getting in touch with my creative side and experimenting with different colours and designs.
If you had asked 21 year old me where I’d see myself in five to ten, I wouldn’t have imagined I would be where I am today - a new mumma to an adorable bubba, a baking entrepreneur, and collaborating with other talented people such as my parents. I whole-heartedly enjoy working with my family, the backbone and foundation of our little business.
I can definitely say that I could not have done this alone. I am thankful for the wonderful support from my husband, my parents, my sister, her other half, friends, and of course you. Your ongoing support, simple thank you's, and kind words are why I love what I do.
It’s crazy how life plans change over time and this happens to be one of those blessings in disguise. I believe every year is the beginning of something new - a time for growth, learning and opportunities.
